yesterday was quite productive. went to the mall with dana and returned some stuff for my mom. we went around to buy post xmas gifts and she tried spending her millions of gift cards. spent some quality time with johnny appleseed. dana left me with him.. nothing really spectacular though. bought chawgee a harry potter trivia game from kb toys (it was the last one) and johnny appleseed gave me 25% off. bless his generous soul. after that.. went to bertos to find alex and ray but karen told us that they all just left for the mall.. we chilled there for a bit then went to danas to chill out and then i went home around 1030 to find chawgee and justin (the bahoo!beys!) at my residence. gave chawgee her present... apparently they were waiting for me to get home to watch lord of the rings 2. but then we were waiting for jhon to come over and by the time that we all were together.. there were no more showings.. damn. once again plans were shot down. postponed again.


today dad woke me up at 8 to clean the house because we found out that people were coming over. so we cleaned.. and cleaned.. and cleaned.. probably going to jhons later. probably gonna see chawgees there too. and it will be another day wit da hood.

"ah-like-ah-da-beh-hoo-beys!" go on ahead justin. go on.

backtrack for a hot second the break so far has been great. the day at the mall on saturday with chawgee was memorable. while spending some quality time with the gabsters, i saw alot of great faces in the mall on monday of whom i havent seen in forever: alex jimeno, jon elicerio, jeremy brofft, ogo&iffy umejei, etc. a few entanglements. but none to worry about. had a goood christmas with the cousins in richmond. will set a record in our family by being the first white guy to do the monito dance. it is the last initiation into the clan.

after xmas.. spent some madd quality time with da ol' hood crew with auntie parties galore for each day of the week.. well for the past three days. i missed the first day of festivities. tuesday was the christmas eve party at jhons house. wednesday was the christmas party at abel&faye's house, thursday was justins 21st bday at chawgees house... and each day had different food. mm hmm. no left overs being reused. that would have been ghetto.

anyway. at chawgees. many a things happened. many funny moments really. justin had his quote of the night: i-like-the-boobies pronounced ah-luck-ah-dah-ba-hoo!-beys with a higher pitch when pronouncing the hoo! watched the panda and kuma on tekken 4 dance and fatally relieve themselves. i ate like a bovine: 4 plates, 4 bowls, 5 drinks, 4 desserts within a two hour period. bless that food. after that we decided to go out. so jhon drove me andrew justin charlene and pearl around for an hour and a half. mostly driving because nothing was open and we didnt want to eat anywhere.. not really. we were all full.. well.. i could have ate more.. but i didnt want to spend any money.

so we drove.. and ended up back at chawgees house where the guys played nba 2k3. there is no yao ming in the roster. we were disappointed. anyway. i fell asleep there and around 2am justin woke me up and said we were going and when i looked downstairs all the aunties were still playing mah jong. i tell you.. they are hard core. anyway. so we left. i was tired. i think the guys still wanted to play.. but jhon had to go home because grace was locked out of the house. so jhon took me and my brohams home.

eh. i cant help it. i guess i have fallen back into this "wishing i spent more time with the seniors" vortex that everyone has seemed to fall into for the past four months. i just seem to delve into it more than everyone else i guess. it sucks when i cant see everyone. everyone seems to have their own life -- i cant blame them >> i have my own too and im not demeriting either life. i guess i just cant have the best of both worlds. but still: part of me misses meeting new people and other circles. and i know i may end up at my ten year reunion thinking "why is it that i never talked to this person or that person in high school" and my whole ten year reunion will be a regret-fest of "what ifs" or "why didnt i"s. theres only six more months to go and it didnt even feel like four years have passed since it all began. within those four years people changed, crews changed, for better for worse (its inevitable), new people came in and out, some left some stayed. etcetera etcetera of the sort. i dont know. but im glad everyone is building memories of senior year in high school. maybe im just a selfish primadonna for wanting to be part of it all. but i smile (or at least i used to>> damn braces) and joke and pretend everything is ok. because everything "is".... isnt it?

maybe im just too demanding.

yesterday>> 122102 :: ended up being a really good day. chawgee woke me up around eleven o clock am. man. that was alot of drool on my pillow. i know. gross but hey. i dont care. anyway. pretty much we went online and started playing some games online (south park create-a-character is the mo'shizzles) and upating the es. it was funny b/c she went up to take a shower and when she was done she went online on her computer in her room and we were talking via aim even though we were in the same house. so i took my shower.. put on some extra clothes that i had in the car (my debut shirt over "my" shirt) and then we hauled it to the mall around two ish. we did some window shoppins for a tidbit but then charlene had to return to work so i just walked around the mall with andrew and justin (my brother and "brother"). later we ran into our parents at kb where i noticed johnny appleseed was working. i bought my nephew christian a bouncing ernie ball that rijates and i said my hello to johnny appleseed for a hot second. didnt get to talk much because my parents were telling me to hurry up. so i was like. ok... so the boys decide that they wanted to go home and chillax at my place since we had nothing to do until charlene got off work (9).. so we ventured to pick up my car at chawgees and went home. jus&andrew went and picked up jay and they played lord of the rings. i watched tv.. changed my clothes and when 830 rolled up we were back out.


this was when the fun began:
it was alot better this time around at the mall because there werent as many people at the mall as there was earlier which was madd crazy. so i go to barringtons to meet up with chawgee and we ventured into the mall. we stopped by the atm then started shopping around to check off our lists. i bought a dickies bag using the gift card that robb gave me. so technically he bought me a dickies bag. thanks robb! so anyway. bought gifts.. bla bla bla.. and it was nice. we reminisced alot. we went into hot topic where charlene got hit on by josephat.. that crazy flirt. it was funny.. i said hi to josephat and ian whom i met by being a usual customer at hot topic and charlene was like.. how do you know all these people?? it was funny.

anyway. well we stopped by kb to buy another gift and once again i ran into johnny appleseed. i didnt even notice that he was following us into our aisle until charlene turned around to ask him if they had something and i was like.. hey. well if it isnt johnny appleseed. so we talk for a while. hes such a nice dude. we talked about board games and all the toys they have in kb. he did us a favor by finding one thing that they were pretty much out of. he tried lying about it and said that they havent had it in like a year but then he just said that he lied because he was being lazy and so he went up and got it for us. i told him about my braces and he told me how he has glasses now. quite sincere.

but dont tell her that. haha. anyway. so we pay for our gifts and we say farewell to johnny appleseed.

the fun continued when we went to waldenbooks to get a gift for someone on my list. i went in line to pay for the book when i saw this guy out of the corner of my eye but i didnt really pay any attention to him. later on when we were walking out.. the guy just stops me. and im there thinkin... oh.. do i get something for free or something? and he tells me that he "just wanted say that he really liked my style and how i dressed and that it was really different and original." and it wasnt in one of those.. "hey baby can i hit that" type of deals.. it was more gentleman like and very polite. so i was pretty much blushing the crap out of myself and said thank you. he had this sincere cuteness too. that made my day. it made me feel special. i wanted to go back and just tell him that he made my day and get his name and that he was a really nice guy. >> guys need to stop with the "can i get yo numba baby" deals and be more sincere.

after that.. i went back to charlenes where justin came to pick us up to go back to my house and we chilled there until like almost 4 in the morning. charlene had work at 8. she fell asleep while i was making a flash movie for her site. im almost done with it. its pretty darn funny.


but that was my spectacular spectacular day. see what a few words and some nice faces can do to brighten up someones day? so tip of the day >>
